It's a very good idea to have the students you are working with ready 15 minutes early so that they have time to read the preceding paragraphs without it taking any of your allotted time. The first paragraphs/stanzas for the day will be posted on the website as blog posts in the morning with the date as part of the heading in this format : 02/10/2017,
Continuations are to be added as comments, so please make sure that you check that the website is not blocked in good time. Each school will work on the days stories/poems for an hour/hour and a half with a group of students aged 10-13 who will work in pairs/as a class to write a next paragraph to each of the day’s stories, continuing on and developing the other schools contributions and uploading these as comments on the blog post for each story. Each school is expected to upload 6 paragraphs. Please try to keep continuations short (maximum 250 words) as this prevents the stories getting too long. It’s usually best to encourage your students to write their paragraph in Word then copy and paste it into the comments box – this way they can spellcheck before uploading if you want them to. At the bottom of each comment before pressing Add Comment please make sure you put the students first name and the name of the school. There will be instant help available via a live chatbox.
Schools are encouraged to send photos of their session for inclusion on the website and/or write a guest blog post of their own at the end of their time about their experience.  Any such content should be emailed to the founder for uploading.

All of the stories and poems will be published in books and a copy of the book your students work appears in will be sent to you.
